Here at Askhill Farm we have a traditional beef and sheep farm located at the end of Loweswater.

We are two young farmers that have a passion for the Lake District, the mountains and wildlife.

Fire pits

We allow fire pits but only the ones that are raised. Please don't make fires on the ground as it will burn the grass and also increases the chance of fire spread

Vehicle access

There is vehicle access to the camping field but we do not allow anyone to drive into the field, this is to keep the people from getting stuck and potentially blocking the view for others.

Shower and toilet facilities

Toilets and showers are 20m from where you will be staying. During peak seasons there will be portaloo's and shower blocks.
